A structured Arabic programme taught live over 16 months, designed for women who want to learn Arabic as a primary language rather than simply a subject to study.
Books 1–3.
The foundations of grammar.
Completing the matn.
We cover these so that grammar grows naturally with the language instead of existing separately from it.
From the beginning, the focus is on treating Arabic as a primary language. Every lesson is designed around the four language skills so that students are constantly reading, listening, speaking and understanding Arabic together rather than developing only one area.
This is not a programme built around memorising long vocabulary lists and hoping they remain. Instead, lessons are accompanied by carefully chosen drills, structured exercises and guided prompts that reinforce the language naturally, allowing vocabulary, sentence structure and comprehension to develop through repeated use.
The aim is not simply to know Arabic, but to be able to use it as one’s primary language.
Throughout the course we work towards strengthening every part of the language together.
Students steadily build confidence in speaking and conversation, improve their listening skills, strengthen their reading ability, increase their understanding of Arabic texts and develop overall comprehension so that the language becomes increasingly familiar rather than something that always requires translation.
Alongside the live classes, students also receive everything needed to stay organised and supported, so they always know where they are and what comes next.
The course is designed to run consistently from beginning to end, bi’ithnillāh. We place a great deal of importance on maintaining that consistency, and if any ongoing inconsistency is found in the delivery of the course, students will be eligible for a full refund, bi’ithnillāh.
The teacher is a graduate of Markaz Lisān al-ʿArab in Cairo, Egypt, and holds three certificates from the institute in Arabic language studies.
In keeping with Al-Muʾāhid, the work is faceless. Teaching is delivered under the institution’s name rather than an individual’s.
Founding price for the next 3 days. After that, £97 £129 per term.
To make the programme more manageable for students, fees are collected once every four months, with each payment covering one term. This avoids requiring a large upfront payment for the full sixteen months while allowing students to continue through the programme term by term.
